Question:

“Please could you take a look at our website, we get a lot of visitors, and business is good, but a few of the staff think the site does not look that professional. Personally, I like it, and I have had many people take a look at it, with various opinions”

Answer:

“Well, your website look and feel is ideal for your target audience, so I would not be too concerned about that. However, I am a little concerned that no-one has spotted one important factor. Your telephone number is not on your website.”

Simple Solution:

The heading on the website was amended to include the telephone number and email address.

Question:

“Looking at the Google Analytics, we have a problem with our website, and I cannot see what to do. People are just not contacting us, not even a phone call.”

Answer:

“Well, the answer is not obvious, but let’s try something… You see, you have your telephone number in the heading on every page, but your heading is rather big. So, when people are looking for your content, they have to scroll down. If you look at the contact us page, you have a form, but no other way of contacting you. Some people can be intimidated by a form, so let’s sort that.”

Simple Solution:

Just above the form, the telephone number and email address were added.
